Novel Broadband Slot-Spiral Antenna for Terahertz Applications

We report a novel broadband slot-spiral antenna that can be integrated with high-electron-mobility transistor (HEMT) terahertz (THz) detectors. The effect of various parameters on the transmission efficiency structure at 150–450 GHz is investigated systematically. performances and spiral both HEMTs are compared. results show has better miniaturization capability than structure. A formula for responsivity derived based line principle theory, detector correlated absorptivity. Additionally, guidelines HEMT THz design proposed. this study indicate excellent application prospects in detection imaging.
